2026 Workshop of PNU Physics, HU RIES, and HU Physics

Jan. 19 ~ 21 , 2026 - Busan, South Korea

The workshop is based on an MOU between College of Natural Sciences, Pusan National University and Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University made at 2016 and an MOU between Department of Physics, Pusan National University and Research Institute of Electronic Science made at 2024. In both MOUs, it is specified to foster Faculty and administravitve staff exchange, Student exchange, Joint research activities, Exchange of academic materials, and other academic exchange.

At January 2026, we start a workshop to exchange high-level of scientific knowldge and strengthen friendship among both organizations. The topics of workshop cover from the fundamental physics to applied sciences. The lectures are mainly from the organizations as well as top-tier scientists/engineers from the both countries. The organizers specially invited well-known scholars from Univ. of Tokyo, Osaka Univ., Chungnam Natl. Univ., Kangwon Natl. Univ., Kyungpook Natl. Univ., and POSTECH for the high-level of scientific discussion. In addition, presentations from the students and young scholars are also given.
