6/5 BRAVO!! Thank you to all who helped make "The Final Curtain" a wonderful evening! Every cast member on stage and every supportive audience member could feel the magic created by our Alumni Farewell Celebration and we couldn't find a better group to share our last North Drama show with.

*****Just a bit of business to wrap up.

Please email Mrs. Shellenberger by Tuesday, June 7 if you still want to order a DVD of the Showcase and then drop off an envelope containing a check made out to PNMS or cash for $12, your name and the number of DVDs you would like to order in the Drama mailbasket. Watch the website over the summer for when our DVDs for Shrek, Hillbilly Hankerin/Fractured Fairy Tales and The Final Curtain can be picked up at North.

If you paid for your hat and did not pick it up yet, please stop by Mrs. Whalen's room during 11th period and she'll be sure you get it.

We do have a few extra hats ($15 for black or white) and some extra Showshirts ($10). Please email Mrs. Shellenberger if you would like to purchase one, and we'll have them in Mrs. Whalen's room for you starting on Tuesday during 11th period.

5/27 Please note there is NO Showcase rehearsal today due to the Memorial Day weekend. Showcase Dress rehearsal will be on Tuesday from 3 - 4:45 pm.

*If you would like pizza before the Showcase performance, please bring $5.

* If you haven't paid for your Show Shirt, please bring a check made out to PNMS (preferred) for $10 or cash.

* Payments for hats will also be collected - they are $15. We will have some extras if you didn't order on in advance, bring your $15 payment for a hat as well.

* This final Showcase is being video recorded and you can order a DVD for $12.

Reminder: Rehearsal on Friday 5/20 is for anyone in Hakuna Matata who is available. We will be giving spots and learning choreography & reviewing music for part of the time. Next week we will be reviewing and cleaning all numbers on Monday 5/23 and Wednesday 5/25 so try to make it to both rehearsals if you can. Rehearsals on 5/23 & 5/25 are open to all, even if you haven't been able to attend any rehearsals. Please let your friends know so they don't miss it.

5/16 Due to the weather forecast and recent announcement about early dismissal, today's Showcase rehearsal is cancelled. Stay tuned for more info and stay safe everyone!

5/12/2022 TUESDAY, MAY 17 is AWARDS and ELECTION of OFFICERS after school from 3 pm - 4:45/5 pm in the Auditorium. All 2022 North Drama students should plan to stay after school on this day. ****Any current 7th grader is eligible to run for an officer for the Drama Club. Officers to be elected are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Those current 7th grade students who are interested in running for a Drama Club officer need to submit a written explanation of what position they are running for, why they want to be an officer and what they feel makes them a good fit for that particular position. Candidates will present this speech on Tuesday, May 17.

Students who are in Student Council cannot also be a Drama Club officer due to conflicting meeting times and commitments. The position of Vice President is determined by which student running for President receives the second greatest amount of votes.

Students who are elected as Drama Club officers will need to spend time working with the Drama Club Advisor in making decisions about spending for the year's program and serving as good leaders and role models.

Please email Mrs. Shellenberger with any questions and submit your written speech no later than Monday at 8 pm to Mrs. Shellenberger at jshellenberger@pennridge.org.

Reminder that there is no list for "Welcome Home" and "This Is Our Story". All rehearsals for "Welcome Home" and "This Is Our Story" are open to any current or alumni North Drama student who is interested. You do not have to be available for all rehearsals to be in those numbers. If you can attend the dress rehearsal before the show Tuesday May 31st from 3:00 - 4:30 you can be added into the finale, "This Is Our Story", at the very least. Please let your North Drama friends know they can still jump in to the finale if they would like.
