When the country celebrates 100 years of independence in 2047,
we must build a developed India through collective efforts.
We must learn from Lord Shri Ram, understand his personality, and imbibe his behavior.
Shri Ram is not just a person, he is a person of values, dignity, and direction. If we are to develop India and empower society by 2047, we must cultivate the "Shri Ram" within ourselves. We must awaken.
In just the last 11 years, India has become the world's fifth-largest economy.
The day is not far off when India will become the world's third-largest economy.
Today is a meaningful day for all of us. Many people dreamed, strived, and sacrificed for this day: Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
The beginning of an India that spreads religion, knowledge, and prosperity throughout the world has begun. Looking at this flag symbol, we must all work together to build this India, despite all odds, with steadfast and continuous efforts.
We must build an India that provides the truth represented by Omkar to the entire world, possesses supreme glory and omnipotence, shares happiness and progress with everyone, and provides the fruits of development.

PM Modi was welcomed by the members of the Indian community upon his arrival with chants of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram" to express admiration and support. Later on, PM Modi attended a performance by Chinese artists playing Indian classical musical instruments like sitar, santoor and tabla at the hotel.

The late life of a great artist: Raza Smriti 2025 was a five-day event whose concept itself is memorable. Paying tribute to one's ancestor and remembering his creative life again and again and gathering so many poets and artists in a picturesque place like Mandla, far away from Delhi, is not possible without love. The way Ashok Bajpai preserved the beautiful, well-organized and exemplary memory of Raza Saheb's late life is highly commendable. This memorial event organized under the title Samvay was a bouquet of literature, dance, painting, sculpture, and scrap art, which by offering at Raza Saheb's tomb, we paid our heartfelt tribute to the artistic life of our ancestor. The rainbow of Indianness with which Padma Vibhushan Syed Haider Raza created his art was possible only due to the mutual harmony of Indian philosophy and human life. He gave a basis to maintain the continuity of art through Raza Foundation, only the imagination of a great creative artist could do this.
This event started on 19th July 2025, which was organized at Raza Kala Vihar in Mandla, which started with painting, clay art and umbrella painting, the participation of local citizens in this event is encouraging every year, the intensity with which they remember Raza, born on their land, is unmatched. On 21st July, a poetry reading and critique session was organized in Mandla's Jhankar Auditorium.
Cultural Highlights
Poetry marathons featuring Arun Kamal, Teji Grover, Sangeeta Gundecha, and others.
Dance performances by Aarohi Munshi (Bharatanatyam) and Arunima Ghosh (Odissi).
A theatrical adaptation of Ram Ki Shakti Puja directed by Vyomesh Shukla.
Floral tributes at Raza’s resting place in Bichhiya on July 23.
This vibrant celebration not only honored Raza’s artistic legacy but also spotlighted emerging and established artists who continue to draw inspiration from his philosophy of harmony and Indian aesthetics.
The first session was of poetry reading in which poets from all over the country recited their poems. Among the poets, Arun Kamal from Patna, Sangeeta Gundecha from Bhopal, Teji Grover, Sushila Puri from Lucknow, Pawan Karan from Gwalior, Rashmi Bhardwaj from Delhi, Satyavrat Rajak, Ashutosh Dubey from Indore and Vyomesh Shukla from Banaras recited their poems. After this session, the next session after lunch was Kavita Ka Aranya. In this session, Jyotish Joshi, Vinod Tiwari, Arun Hota, Prabhat Ranjan, Vyomesh Shukla and Ajit Kumar Rai spoke on various aspects of poetry. In the last session in the evening, Bharat Natyam and Odissi dance were presented by Aarohi Munshi from Delhi and Arunima Ghosh from Calcutta. On 22nd July, there was a session of poetry recitation in which Joshna Banerjee Advani from Agra, Sundar Chandra Thakur from Mumbai, Shaileya from Uttarakhand, Babusha Kohli from Jabalpur, Poonam Arora from Delhi and Ajit Kumar Rai from Kannauj recited poems.
In the evening, there was a drama presentation on the memorable poem of the great poet Nirala, Ram Ki Shakti Pooja, under the direction of Vyomesh Shukla. This drama presentation has been staged many times in India and abroad. It was its first staging in Mandla and it was challenging to present a poem in the form of drama, which Vyomesh Shukla directed very beautifully. Apart from the citizens of Mandla, many people from the administrative department were present to see the drama presentation.
The staging of this live presentation of Ram Ki Shakti Pooja is the discharge of that tradition of art in which generations make their ancestors timeless. This poem of poet Suryakant Nirala has been adapted with great love by Vyomesh Shukla, which is unique. 23rd July is the date of Raza sahab's physical demise and all the officials of Raza Foundation along with poets and artists from across the country were present to offer flowers on the grave of this artist who rests in the soil of Bichhiya; Mandla. Raza Smriti Samvay 2025 thus departed remembering its ancestor artist again and again with the concept that the memory of our great ancestors is the path of life. Behind this entire event is the result of the love of Ashok Vajpayee and the hard work of all the members of the foundation. Those who whisper nonsense about Raza Foundation will have to understand that without love it is not possible to give international fame and continuity to any institution.
