A2H.U6.L14 - Desmos/GeoGebra Project

  1. Objective: Use Desmos or GeoGebra and the knowledge you've learned this year to create an awesome scene. I want these to be full scenes that include color and animation.

  2. Groups: You may complete this project with a partner or work alone if you prefer (no more than 2 people per group).

  3. Presentation: Present your project to the class. Your projects will be displayed on our class website for the public to see! :)

  4. Requirements:

    • Your scene must include at least one of every type of equation we've learned so far this year.

(linear, absolute value, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, radical, rational, trigonometric)

    • Your scene must include colors (using inequalities).

    • Your scene must include animations.

    • You're not allowed to use any images.

    • Your scene must include at least one function that combines two different types of functions.

For example, y = |cos(x)| combines absolute value and trigonometric.

Experiment with several different options to come up with a cool-looking function to use.

  • A good portion of your grade will be based on your creativity.
