Fall Day 4 in Lexington
Note: Bowling Green summer dates has changed to June 10th and 11th so there is no conflict with the KY Reads to Succeed Conference.
Fall Day 4 in Lexington
Our PNCA² leaders in Sessions A & B came ready to learn, collaborate, and engage. From the Math Pact to representations, to intentional approaches for math fact fluency, to the effective math teaching practices and even digging into the “What’s It Worth?” routines. These sessions were full of meaningful, practical work! We love seeing our leaders engaged and fired up about taking the work back to their schools and districts.
Fall Day 4 in Bowling Green
Bowling Green brought the energy and the learning on Thursday!
We dug into Math Pact Chapter 5 and reviewed Chapter 4 on representations. We made connections to the EMTPs and SMPs. Participants also explored representations during “What’s It Worth?” Incredible conversations, thoughtful collaboration, and so many “aha” moments already.
Fall Day 3 in Lexington
Across two days, school leaders (185 to be exact) spent Day 3 of the Numeracy Counts Administrator Academy exploring how HQIRs support math learning, analyzing trends in math fact fluency, and building understanding of symbol sense through The Math Pact. The session also highlighted teacher learning in KCMNCA Module 2, giving administrators new insights to take back to their schools. Both sessions were held at the Campbell House Inn in Lexington.
