Paper Submissions

Authors must first submit a paper proposal by June 15th, 2021 in the form of an abstract (minimum 500 words). Submitted abstracts must follow the proposal template [pdf link]. The full paper submissions are required by August 15th, 2021. Submissions must be original, in English, and should not have been published previously while being evaluated for this conference. The paper’s required length is at least 6 pages including figures, tables & references. All submitted papers must conform to the IEEE Xplore Format for conference proceedings.

Note: It is a requirement from IEEE that each paper submitted to PNC 2021 should go through IEEE crosscheck. Please be aware of the similarity index of your submitted final paper.

As the reviewing will be blind, papers must not include authors' names and affiliations. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author's identity, e.g., "We previously showed (Smith, 1991) ..." must be avoided. Instead, use citations such as "Smith previously showed (Smith, 1991) ..." Papers that do not conform to these requirements will be rejected without review.

Papers should not refer, for further detail, to documents that are not available to the reviewers. For example, do not omit or redact important citation information to preserve anonymity. Instead, use third person or named references to this work, as described above (“Smith showed” rather than “we showed”).

Poster Submissions

Researchers engaging in computational and communications media and technology are invited to submit proposals for exhibiting work that responds to this year's conference themes of "Sustainable Digital Heritage." Authors are required to submit abstracts (max. 500 words) by June 15th, 2021 . Submitted abstracts must follow the proposal template [pdf link]. In addition to the final poster PDF, authors must also give an oral poster presentation in video format (1 minute) in English. The final poster and video must both be submitted by August 15th, 2021.

*All posters will be presented in digital format during the conference.

Due to the pandemic conditions, there will be no poster competition held this year.
