My name is Dr. Shouharda Ghosh, and I am currently a Senior Engineer in the Wireless Modem Hardware team at Qualcomm, Bangalore, India. Prior to joining Qualcomm, I completed my Postdoctoral Research at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where I worked on Quantum Wireless Sensing.
I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar in 2025 under the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF). Before that, I completed my B.Tech.–M.Tech. Dual Degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2022, graduating as the Institute Topper and receiving the Prime Minister of India Gold Medal for securing the highest CGPA among all Dual Degree graduates.
My research interests span adaptive signal processing, wireless communications, VLSI architectures, digital ASIC design, and hardware-software co-design. My doctoral research focused on array signal processing, robust adaptive filtering, nonlinear acoustic feedback cancellation for digital hearing aids, and low-power VLSI implementation of adaptive signal processing algorithms. More broadly, I am interested in developing computationally efficient algorithms and translating them into practical hardware architectures for next-generation intelligent and communication systems.
