My name is Dr. Shouharda Ghosh. I have recently defended my PhD thesis in Electrical Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar, supported by the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) awarded in March 2023. Prior to this, I completed my B.Tech–M.Tech Dual Degree from the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering at IIT Kharagpur in 2022, graduating as the Institute Topper and recipient of the Prime Minister of India Gold Medal for the highest CGPA among all dual degree students.
My doctoral research centers on robust and nonlinear adaptive signal processing, with particular emphasis on DOA estimation and the co-design of algorithms and hardware architectures for real-time implementation. I also maintain a strong interest in VLSI signal processing, approximate computing, VLSI arithmetic circuits, hardware accelerators for ML/DL, computer architecture, and SoC design—with demonstrated expertise in both theoretical modeling and low-power ASIC development.
