Founded in 2024 by Asel Gabbani, Lakshidaa Jayamurugan, Fabiha Shiddiky, and Rodina Ghanem, we began as a group of four high school students based in Keller, Texas, dedicated to raising awareness about Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) [Formerly known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)] within our community. While all four members co-founded the organization, it is currently led by Asel and Lakshidaa. Raising awareness about PMOS is vital, since it is a condition that is rarely discussed yet affects so many women. Through our project, we hope to educate the general public about PMOS, its symptoms, and how it impacts both physical and mental health. We aim to provide trustworthy information on PMOS, as well as a supportive community for individuals affected by the condition, where people can share their stories, offer advice, and provide encouragement.
