The Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration and PMMM Family Day 2026 is organised with the aim of celebrating the festive occasion in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere, especially for Malaysian students who are away from their families and homeland. The programme seeks to recreate the warmth and spirit of Aidilfitri by bringing together members of the Malaysian Students' Association in Morocco (PMMM) in a setting that reflects unity, gratitude, and shared happiness. It also serves as a platform to strengthen the bonds of ukhuwah and foster a deeper sense of togetherness among members, regardless of their backgrounds or years of study.
In addition, this programme aims to cultivate the spirit of cooperation through various activities that encourage participation, teamwork, and mutual support among members. Such efforts are essential in nurturing a strong and cohesive community, particularly in a foreign environment. Furthermore, the celebration plays an important role in preserving and promoting the cultural values and traditions of Malaysian society, including the practices of gotong-royong, mutual respect, and festive customs associated with Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Through this meaningful initiative, it is hoped that members will not only experience the joy of the celebration but also develop a stronger sense of belonging, cultural identity, and appreciation for the values that unite them as a community.
The Malaysian Students' Association in Morocco (PMMM) proudly presents the Mahrajan Sayembara consists of several interesting events such as the Hadith Recitation Competition (Musabaqah Hadis), the Abdul Rahman bin ‘Awf Carnival, and the Cultural Day 2024. This program is an initiative to encourage students to not only excel in academics but also be expert in other aspects too such as religion, entrepreneurship and Malaysian culture itself who are not only excellent in academics but also possess deep understanding of religion, entrepreneurship, and Malaysian culture. this large scale program is held to cultivate multi-faceted skills among students so they are well-prepared to face the upcoming hardships and challenges in life that require a balanced approach from various perspectives.
The Mahrajan Sayembara that was held in 2024 has proven its success as a joint effort that integrates elements of religion, culture, and entrepreneurship. This event not only created opportunities for students to empower themselves through the appreciation of hadith, but also promoted awareness of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and exploration in the field of entrepreneurship. The enthusiastic response from participants and guests alike proves that this program is highly impactful and holds great potential for further development in the future.
The “Infaq 4 The Need” was held by the Welfare Bureau of the Malaysian Students' Association in Morocco (PMMM). The main purpose of this program is to assist those in need while instilling the values of charity and social responsibility within Malaysian students in Morocco.
“Infaq 4 The Need” will continue as an annual initiative represents as a platform to nurture the culture of infaq (charitable giving) which is a noble practice encouraged in Islam by giving donations such as food, money or essential goods of everyday life to those who in need essential items to underprivileged communities. In addition, the program emphasizes the importance of the act of giving or spending wealth for the benefit of others as an act of worship and righteousness, both voluntarily or to fulfill obligations.
Students are a vital asset to the nation’s future. Therefore, as students, we must strive to become well-rounded assets for our country, both physically and mentally. In line with the Arabic proverb, “A sound mind in a sound body,” the Malaysian Students' Association in Morocco (PMMM) took the initiative to develop students who are active both physically and mentally through a program known as Sukan Malaysia, or SUKMA for short.
SUKMA 2025 brought many positive impacts to the students of PMMM. It successfully united all participating athletes as they gave their best to bring victory to their respective sports houses in the quest for the SUKMA Overall Champion title. In the final results, Air Bender emerged as the overall champion, followed by Water Bender and Fire Bender. Thus, SUKMA 2025 concluded successfully, thanks to the strong cooperation and teamwork shown by all members of the Malaysian Students' Association in Morocco.
PMMM has organized this program for the very first time with the aim of cultivating students’ intellectual capabilities and strengthening their engagement in the study of social sciences. This initiative is designed to encourage a deeper appreciation of critical thinking, analytical skills, and academic discourse among university students.
In particular, the program emphasizes discussions rooted in ilmu diniah (religious knowledge), integrating them with contemporary social realities. Through this approach, students are given the opportunity to explore and analyze current societal issues from both intellectual and ethical perspectives. By bridging traditional religious scholarship with modern social contexts, the program aspires to produce graduates who are not only academically competent but also socially aware and responsive.
Furthermore, this program serves as a platform for students to actively participate in meaningful debates, exchange ideas, and develop well-informed viewpoints on pressing social matters. It also nurtures a culture of knowledge-sharing and critical inquiry, which are essential for holistic personal and academic development. The "Majlis Meraikan Graduan (MMG)" is an annual programme organised by the Education Bureau of the Malaysian Students' Association in Morocco (PMMM) to honour and celebrate the achievements of Malaysian students who have successfully completed their studies in their respective fields. The ceremony serves not only as a platform to recognise the dedication and sacrifices of the graduates, but also to reflect the commitment and concern of the PMMM leadership, particularly the Education Bureau, towards the welfare and academic journey of its members. In addition, this initiative aims to inspire and motivate Malaysian students in Morocco who are still pursuing their studies to strive for academic excellence. Through this meaningful event, it is hoped that a sense of appreciation will be fostered while simultaneously instilling intrinsic motivation among students to achieve greater success and continuous personal growth.
