Prof. Grace Eunhye Lee English Bio 

Dr. Grace Eun-Hye Lee is a multi-award-winning professor, musical actor, director, and singing health specialist. She has served as Director of the Media Entertainment Department at Kyung Hee University since 2022. Prior to joining the KHU faculty, Dr. Lee served as Professor of Performing Arts at Dongguk University for 14 years. A native of the Republic of Korea, she moved to the USA in 2001 after completing her bachelor's degree in music at the University of Seoul. She holds two master's degrees: vocal performance (The Boston Conservatory, 2003) and music theatre (New York University, 2007), as well as a Ph.D. in Applied Arts (Kyung Hee University, 2018).

After graduating in the United States, she joined a musical agency and performed on Broadway, starring in productions such as <Miss Saigon> and <The King and I>. After returning to Korea in 2007, she played leading roles in musicals such as <Cats> and <Wonhyo>, and has remained active through solo concerts, music programs, and lectures.

In addition to being a professor, she serves on several professional committees, including as an editorial member of the Korean Communication Society and the Korean Entertainment Industry Association, and as a director and judge for the Korean Contents Association. She is also a member of the Korean Musical Association (grand member and academic subcommittee) and an advisory member of the Gangwon Music Creation Subcommittee. With a strong interest in the vocal mechanism, she is an active researcher and a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) in the United States. She also serves as a director of Arts Co., Ltd., and works as an international vocal trainer for World Voice Ensemble (USA) and VM Theater Company (Taiwan).

As a professor, she is actively involved in public cultural projects and external review activities, and has ranked in the top 5% nationally for domestic research output through her academic books and publications. Her book <Easy-to-Understand Musical Singing Practice> is used as a textbook at several universities. In 2021, she translated <Entertainment Science>, which was selected as an excellent book. Professor Grace Eun-hye Lee is a researcher who combines practice and theory and continues to contribute to the development of musical education in Korea.
