If you want a dedicated digital music player that doubles as a voice recorder and offers lossless audio quality for your gym bag, choose Pmjebe MP3; if you need a specialized wireless headset designed specifically for private TV listening with long-range FM transmission, choose Dioche TV Headphones Over.
• Pmjebe MP3: Its biggest strength is the versatile 8GB storage with Bluetooth 5.3 and lossless format support, but it lacks the over-ear comfort and dedicated TV transmitter features needed for living room viewing. This pick is for the mobile user who wants a portable media hub.
• Dioche TV Headphones Over: Its biggest strength is the robust 98ft range and high-volume output tailored for hard-of-hearing seniors or movie lovers, but it has no internal memory or recording capabilities. This pick is for the home theater enthusiast who needs silence without isolation from the room.
• Both devices serve very different primary use cases: one is a standalone music device, the other is a TV accessory.
• The Pmjebe weighs significantly less at 50g, while the Dioche offers a heavier, more substantial build at 8.8oz for all-day wear.
• Neither product claims to be a generic "best" solution; they are engineered for specific scenarios where one excels and the other fails.
• If you are looking for a headphone for gaming on a console or PC, neither is the primary design intent, though both have connectivity options that could work in a pinch.
• For a wireless headphone for gaming, the Dioche's lack of latency issues makes it viable for some, but the Pmjebe requires a separate Bluetooth receiver setup for true wireless play.
• The choice ultimately comes down to whether you prioritize portability and file management (Pmjebe) or immersive, large-room TV audio (Dioche).
The Pmjebe MP3 is not a pair of headphones you put on your ears to listen to the television; it is a compact, palm-sized media player that acts as a bridge between your digital files and your audio experience. Its core identity is built around mobility and file versatility. With an 8GB built-in memory capacity, this device can hold up to 2000 tracks, making it an excellent companion for runners, hikers, or commuters who want to leave their phones behind. The inclusion of a 1.47-inch full touch screen allows for easy navigation through playlists without fumbling for buttons, a feature that is particularly useful when you are wearing gloves or running outdoors.
For the serious audiophile who cares about sound fidelity, the Pmjebe stands out by supporting lossless formats like APE and FLAC. This level of detail is crucial for anyone who listens to high-quality audio files and wants to avoid the compression artifacts found in standard streaming apps. Furthermore, the upgrade to Bluetooth 5.3 ensures a stable connection with minimal power consumption when paired with external Bluetooth headphones or speakers, making it a reliable tool for wireless listening on the go.
However, this device is not designed for everyone. If you are looking for a pair of headphones that plugs directly into your TV or provides a comfortable, over-ear fit for watching movies on the couch, this is not the right tool. The unit includes a mini back clip design, which suggests it is meant to be worn on clothing or attached to gear rather than used as a traditional headset. While it does have a built-in speaker, its small size limits the bass response compared to larger over-ear units. Additionally, the battery life of 20 hours is impressive for a device of this size, but it relies on a Type-C charging cable, which means you need to remember to bring the charger on trips.

This product is ideal for students, teachers, writers, and businessmen who need a portable way to record meetings or lectures using the integrated dynamic noise reduction microphone. The adjustable gain levels allow for capturing sound from a distance with clarity, a feature that turns this MP3 player into a professional-grade digital voice recorder. If your daily routine involves moving from the office to the gym to a hiking trail, and you want a single device to manage your music, record notes, and play podcasts, the Pmjebe MP3 fits that lifestyle perfectly. You should skip it if you need a dedicated TV listening solution or if you prefer a device with a larger screen for video playback.
The Dioche TV Headphones Over is engineered with a singular, focused purpose: to provide a private, high-fidelity audio experience for television viewing without disturbing others in the household. Unlike the portable nature of the Pmjebe, this device is a stationary home entertainment system component that prioritizes range, volume, and comfort. The standout feature here is the 98-foot wireless transmission radius powered by advanced FM modulation technology. This range is significant because it allows you to move freely throughout a large house or even step outside onto a patio while maintaining a clear signal with minimal distortion of less than 2%. This stability is critical for avoiding audio dropouts during intense action scenes or live sports events.
Comfort is another pillar of the Dioche design, specifically targeting users who may wear these headphones for extended periods. Weighing 8.8oz, the unit is substantial enough to feel durable but light enough to avoid neck strain. The ear cushions are made of ultra-soft protein leather filled with breathable memory foam, creating a seal that blocks ambient noise while preventing heat buildup. This design choice is particularly beneficial for seniors or individuals with hearing challenges who need to turn the volume up higher than regular TV speakers. The adjustable headband and swiveling earcups ensure a customized fit for various head shapes, making it a practical choice for families sharing a living space where multiple people might take turns using them.
The connectivity options are equally robust, featuring a 5-in-1 design that supports optical, coaxial, and 3.5mm connections. The included transmitter base serves as a plug-and-play decoder, eliminating the need for complex pairing processes that often plague Bluetooth devices. This means you can connect it to almost any TV, including older models, and enjoy synchronized audio with zero delay. The dual power options—either 2 AAA batteries or the included 4.5V DC adapter—provide flexibility for continuous use without worrying about recharging cycles. If you are someone who watches late-night shows without wanting to wake a sleeping partner, or if you need to monitor the TV audio while working in another room, this device delivers the necessary freedom.
Despite its strengths, the Dioche is not a general-purpose music player. It lacks internal storage, meaning you cannot load your own library of songs or podcasts onto the device itself. It is strictly a receiver for external audio sources. If you are looking for a headphone for gaming where you might need to communicate with teammates via a chat app or require low-latency Bluetooth for a controller, this wired-transmitter setup might feel limiting compared to a dedicated wireless gaming headset. However, for the specific use case of consuming media from a TV, the Dioche offers a level of immersion and convenience that portable players simply cannot match. It is best suited for home theater enthusiasts, seniors, and anyone who values privacy and high-volume clarity over portability.
• Best for Portability → Pmjebe MP3: At only 50g with a pocket-sized form factor, it is designed to be carried anywhere, whereas the Dioche is a home-bound device.
• Best for Battery Life → Pmjebe MP3: Offers 20 hours of playback on a single charge, perfect for long travel days, while the Dioche relies on replaceable AAA batteries or a constant wall outlet.
• Best for TV Range → Dioche TV Headphones Over: Delivers a stable 98ft transmission that penetrates walls, a capability the Pmjebe lacks entirely.
• Best for Audio Fidelity → Pmjebe MP3: Supports lossless FLAC and APE formats with high bitrates, offering superior sound quality for music purists compared to the Dioche's standard TV audio processing.
• Best for Recording → Pmjebe MP3: Includes a built-in digital voice recorder with noise reduction technology, a feature completely absent from the Dioche.
• Best for Comfort → Dioche TV Headphones Over: Features over-ear memory foam cushions designed for hours of sitting and watching, unlike the clip-on design of the Pmjebe.
• Best for Seniors/Hearing Impaired → Dioche TV Headphones Over: Specifically optimized for louder volumes and easier setup without pairing confusion.
• Best for Gaming → Tie/Context Dependent: For a wireless headphone for gaming on a console, the Dioche works well if plugged into the console's audio output, while the Pmjebe requires a Bluetooth adapter for similar functionality.
After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases of both devices, I would personally buy the Dioche TV Headphones Over if my goal was to improve my home entertainment experience. The ability to walk around the house with a crystal-clear, high-volume connection to my TV without lagging audio is a game-changer for family living. The comfort of the over-ear design also makes it a practical choice for long movie marathons. However, if I were planning a trip or needed a device to carry my music library and record interviews on the go, the Pmjebe MP3 would be my clear choice due to its lossless audio support and lightweight portability. Ultimately, the decision depends on whether you need a headphone for gaming or media consumption in a fixed location, or a portable digital assistant for your active lifestyle.
Yes, you can use it as a source for a wireless headphone for gaming by connecting it to a Bluetooth transmitter, but it is primarily a music player and voice recorder, not a dedicated gaming headset with a microphone for chat.
Absolutely. The Dioche connects via optical, coaxial, or 3.5mm ports and includes a transmitter that decodes signals, making it compatible with over 95% of digital TVs, including older models that do not support modern Bluetooth standards.
Both products offer competitive value based on their specific features. Since pricing fluctuates frequently, you should check the latest price on Amazon to see which deal fits your current budget.
The Dioche TV Headphones Over provides better passive noise isolation due to its over-ear design with memory foam seals, making it more effective for blocking out background noise than the open-back or clip-on design of the Pmjebe.
