Emma Lin, violin

Emma Lin picked up her first violin when she was four years old. Since then, she attended Skidmore College with the Filene Music Scholarship and the Porter Wachenheim Scholarship for Science and Mathematics. She studied Biology at Skidmore, but spent much of her time playing in multiple ensembles in the music department. Her greatest achievement at Skidmore was playing Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Skidmore Orchestra. Emma now works as research technician in Dr. Cathy Wu’s lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
