Steal corn?

• We landed in Cape Cod on November 11, 1620. Immediately we were placed in a foreign land with little resources and facing weather we have never encountered.

• Winter is only a few weeks away, so planting crops is out of the question, however food supplies are low.

• A few of our scouts found an abandoned Wampanoag Native American settlement where we found storage pits full of corn.

• Some of the members of the expedition realize that this is a storage pit left by the Indians.

• In spite of that, the impulse to steal the corn is strong.

• If you are caught or the Wampanoag find out, you might face deadly consequences and you do not have the equipment or manpower to defend yourself.

• Without food, you starve.

DECISION: Do you steal the corn, giving your group some food for the winter, but risking your relationship with the Wampanoag?
