Privacy Policy for Pluto Watch TV

This Privacy Policy explains how Pluto Watch TV (“the App”) handles information. The App is a content-discovery catalog for browsing original placeholder titles. It is not affiliated with any third-party streaming service.
1. Who we are
Pluto Watch TV is a mobile application identified as com.pluwatchss.app. This policy applies to the Android app only.
2. Information we collect
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment details, contacts, location, photos, or files.
Information stored only on your device:
Favorite title IDs you choose to save
Theme preference (System, Light, or Dark)
Content notification preference (on or off)
This information is saved locally with Android DataStore. It is not uploaded to our servers. The App does not operate a user-profile backend.
3. Internet use
The App uses the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions to load publicly available demo images for catalog posters. Network access is used for image loading, not for creating an account or sending personal information to us.
The App does not play streaming video and does not collect viewing history from a remote service.
4. Information we do not collect
We do not collect names, emails, passwords, location, contacts, call logs, SMS, payment information, or advertising IDs for our own ads. This version does not include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting product.
5. Children's privacy
The App may display a “Kids” category as fictional catalog labels. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is a general browsing catalog and is not directed at children under 13.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share on-device favorites or settings with advertisers, data brokers, or social networks.
If you use Android backup, your device manufacturer or Google account backup settings may copy app preferences according to your system backup choices.
7. Data retention and deletion
Favorites and settings remain on the device until you remove them, clear app data, or uninstall the App. You can remove saved titles from Favorites or from a title’s Details screen.
8. Permissions

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — check whether a network connection is available
The App does not request storage, contacts, phone, microphone, camera, or location permissions.
9. Security
Preferences are stored in the App’s private storage on your device. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep the operating system updated.
10. Third-party services
Catalog images may be requested from a public image host used for demo artwork. That host may receive standard technical request data such as IP address and device user-agent as part of ordinary internet traffic. We do not send your favorites list or settings to that host as a profile.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the revised text will appear in the App under Profile → Privacy Policy.
