Who am I? 

I am that person you passed on the sidewalk, the plain face that never caught your eye, the quiet voice you didn’t hear, the one behind you in line, anybody, or nobody.  I am the one who noticed that way you say ‘hello’ or reach for a door handle or get impatient waiting for the traffic light.  I am the one you almost rear ended, the one you passed on the right, the one broken down on the side of the road that you didn’t even consider helping.  I am the one who remembers, who writes things down, who makes a story out of life’s plain paper.  I am the person you will never see because you never look down.  Don’t worry; I notice enough for the both of us.
