These terms and conditions apply to any plush that I make including new commissions, commission preorders from my shop, and shop order remakes.
By placing an order in my shop or commissioning me, Courtney (also known as Biscotti Bunny and Courtnipie), you agree to the terms below:
You must be 18 years or older to inquire about a commission and/or make a purchase from my shop.
My plush are not toys and are not suitable for children.
I do not accept commissions for OCs.
I will only accept commissions that I feel comfortable doing. I do not do NSFW.
I typically only do on-model plush, in that the plush will look as closely as possible to its in-game or TV counterpart.
I do not do stylized plush such as chibi or fan art look-alikes.
There are several factors that contribute to the price of a plush, including:
Size
Amount of colors
Overall complexity
Special features (jointed, plastic armature, magnets, etc.)
Overall time and labor
For new plush, I periodically post WIP (work in progress) blog posts on my Ko-Fi. When you order from my shop you may view these as a supporter.
For commissions not made through my shop I will send WIP photos to you via email.
For commissions (not including commission preorders from my shop), quotes will expire after 1 month of the inquiry if not agreed upon.
Quotes given for brand new plush will include up to a 30% additional fee for the pattern drafting and materials used for pattern testing.
Animal Crossing plush dolls and commission preorders are exempt.
I allow up to 2 free revisions for things such as moderate shape changes and embroidery adjustments.
This does not apply to remakes or commission preorders from my shop.
Pose changes, proportional changes, or anything that requires a large overhaul of the pattern will not be accepted.
All shop orders, whether a remake or a commission preorder, must be paid in full. I do not offer payment plans on shop orders.
For new plush commission, at least 50% of the commission price is expected before work on the commission begins.
Full payment, including shipping, must be received before the plush is shipped.
I accept payment plans for most commissions.
Payments will be made through a PayPal invoice.
The invoice will be for the full amount but you can pay incrementally until the invoice is paid.
PayPal invoices incur roughly a 3% - 4% fee that will be included on the invoice.
Invoices must be paid in full within 3 months, or within the agreed upon timeframe. Should something come up that prevents this, I am willing to accommodate as long as I am given notice beforehand.
Store orders and new commissions that are paid in full will take priority over invoices that have not been paid in full regardless of how long the commission has been in the works.
Failure to pay on time will result in the plush being delayed or canceled.
If full payment has not been received after two weeks of the completion of the plush without prior notice, the plush will be considered abandoned and potentially resold. A partial refund may be given depending on the circumstances (see Returns & Refunds below).
The plush will not be shipped to you until full payment has been received.
I do not accept cryptocurrency. Attempting to pay with cryptocurrency of any kind will result in immediate cancellation of your invoice and you will be issued a refund.
Turnaround time for plush orders and commissions will vary case by case. I can only give a very rough estimate as to how long a certain plush will take to make and that's assuming material availability and sourcing, plush shape complexity, and unrelated things that may be out of my control are factored in.
Store order remakes will typically take at least two weeks.
New commissions or preorder commissions may take several weeks to months to complete depending on the subject.
I will only work on one new commission at a time but I may work on store order remakes simultaneously.
I suffer from chronic migraines and work fulltime which means that most of my sewing work takes place after my day job or on the weekends. While I try to work on my orders consistently and quickly, they are not my priority over my health and career.
My returns and refunds policy applies to any and all plush orders and/or commissions.
Full refunds are only given if no materials have been used for the commission or order.
A partial refund may be given minus the cost of any materials used and other fees I have incurred in preparation for the plush.
If a plush has already been started, no refunds will be given.
Refunds are applied through Ko-Fi or directly from PayPal, depending on where the point of sales was conducted.
I will apply a refund as soon as I can once I receive a request but please be patient as sometimes the money can take a few days or more to move.
I do not accept returns. You may resell the plush if you wish.
Depending on the size of the plush or your preference, I will ship via USPS or UPS. Tracking info will be provided.
Cost of shipping will depend on your location as well as the size of the plush.
Shipping can be as much as $70 or more for domestic shipping on larger plush.
I will try to get the cheapest option available but know that I do not control shipping prices.
If your location is outside the US, you are responsible for any customs fees that may arise. I will NOT mark customs forms as a gift, this is mail fraud.
I include insurance and signature confirmation on all of my plush when shipped. In the unfortunate event your package is missing or damaged, you must make a claim with the carrier. I am not responsible for packages once they leave my care.Â
Email is the best method to contact me.
Please understand that plush making is only my hobby and not my full-time work so commissions may take up to several months to complete.
