At PlusAndMinus, we welcome people from every discipline and culture to share and express what matters to them. This mission is rooted in our belief that our future has more voices, not fewer. We’re reducing the barriers to writing for everyone by providing a platform to express themselves, live in the moment and learn about the world. Let’s get through the busiest, messiest and happiest years of our life and figure out how experiences have added value to our lives.
WHY THE NAME 'PLUSANDMINUS'
PlusAndMinus is a blog that tries to showcase unique opinions through the voices of students. The name deals with the fact that we don't publish conventionally negative pieces, like most news outlets do. Hence, 'Plus' for positive journalism and 'Minus' for conventional journalism, because negative journalism is still important from the viewpoint of current affairs. However, we put out a lot of unique pieces that center on diverse topics, ranging from literature to dealing with being a teenager.

I am an aspiring writer, who stays up till unholy hours in the night flipping pages of classics, scrolling through human crises, experimenting with wordplay and making concoctions of human emotions through poetry. I exist somewhere between Franz Kafka's "never defined" and Oscar Wilde's "existence is a scandal".
