Short Bio
I was born in Senigallia (Italy) in 1993. I received my BSc in Computer Engineering and Automation at Universita Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona) in 2015, with honors, and my MSc in Mechatronic Engineering at both Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano in 2017, with honors, thanks to the double-degree program Alta Scuola Politecnica. In 2018, I started a PhD program at Tel Aviv University, Israel, under the supervision of Prof. G. Weiss, funded by the Marie-Curie project ConFlex. During this time, I have visited Prof. Q.-C. Zhong at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, USA, and Prof. L. Paunonen at Tampere University, Finland. Moreover, I have spent three months at Airbus in Hamburg, Germany, and I have collaborated with Synvertec, a startup in the renewable energies sector, in Herzliya, Israel. I got awarded the PhD degree in Control Engineering from Tel Aviv University in November 2023 (I have defended in September 2023), with a PhD thesis entitled: A Novel Class of Projected Integral Controllers for Nonlinear Systems, with Application to Power Systems. From October 2023 to September 2024, I was a postdoctoral researcher in control engineering at CRAN, CNRS, Université de Lorraine (Nancy, France), advised by Prof. I.-C. Morarescu and Dr. R. Postoyan. From October 2024, I am a CNRS Chargé de Recherche at CRAN, CNRS, Université de Lorraine (Nancy, France).
