A key feature of this conference is its egalitarian nature. All participants will be required to submit abstracts describing their most exciting and innovative work within the area of the Physics of Life at the Nanoscale, as broadly defined. Selection of admissions and of talks will be awarded based on these abstracts.
All the selected talks will be the same length (15 min + 5 min discussion). This length means that each talk must focus on the key concepts, data, and conclusions. In practice, we’ve found that this accelerated meeting pace leads to a wider range of topics to be discussed at the meeting, captures the current pulse of the field, and encourages a large number of questions and interactions among attendees.
The final program will be determined based on the submitted abstracts. However, this year we are pleased to host two invited workshop speakers:
Scott will be giving a special lecture on systems biology for single molecule biophysicists.
Polly will be giving a special lecture on microfluidics for single molecule biophysicists.
