Plinth – Smart Expense Tracker (“the App”) helps you track your income and expenses.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights and choices. By using Plinth, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account identifiers through Supabase Auth, such as:
Your unique user ID
Your name
Your email address (as provided by Google)
We may collect general usage information, such as:
Screens visited
Feature interactions
Performance and stability data
We do not sell personally identifiable analytics data.
We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements in the App.
AdMob may collect:
Device identifiers
Ad interaction data
This data is used to serve, personalize, measure ads, and prevent fraud.
Your financial data is stored locally on your device (offline-first design).
If you sign in and enable cloud sync, your data is securely synced to Supabase (a PostgreSQL-based cloud database) so you can access it across devices.
Supabase infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
We use collected information to:
Provide core app features (transactions, budgets, categories, reports)
Authenticate your account via Supabase Auth (Google OAuth)
Enable optional cloud sync across devices
Improve app performance and stability
Show and measure ads via Google AdMob
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App:
Supabase – Authentication (Google OAuth), database storage, real-time sync
Google OAuth – Identity verification for sign-in
Google AdMob – In-app advertising
Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Cloud infrastructure used by Supabase
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Local data remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the App.
If cloud sync is enabled, data stored in Supabase remains until:
You delete it within the App, or
You submit a deletion request.
If you delete your account, synced data will be removed from Supabase within a reasonable timeframe.
You may:
Sign out of your Google account within the App at any time.
Revoke Plinth’s Google access via:
Google Account Settings → Security → Third-party apps
Limit ad personalization via:
Google Settings → Ads
Request deletion of your synced data (see Contact section below).
We use Supabase’s Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data.
All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We recommend using a strong Google password and keeping your device secure.
Plinth is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
