I'm Jake Pletsch, a Twin Cities-based filmmaker and photographer from White Bear Lake, MN, who has loved movies since I was born. I started making videos when I was 10 years old (said videos have since been archived), and now I pursue filmmaking both as my dream and my career.

My long term goals include film education and making feature length narrative fiction films. At Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), I worked as a Learning Community Mentor for students in the film, animation, music, and entertainment programs. I also served as the President of the film club, Frame by Frame.

During the summer of 2025, I got the chance to be an intern for the Street Photography Camp at FilmNorth in St. Paul, MN. This furthered my experience as an educator of media arts.
