SC Book Award Nominees
Every year, the South Carolina Association of School Librarians compiles a list of amazing, high-quality, new books. These books are divided into Picture Books, Children's Books, Junior Books, and Young Adult Books. Then these books are voted on by students all over South Carolina to establish winners for that year. At PHMS, we focus on the Junior Book Award Nominees as these titles are appropriate for our 6th-8th graders. Some of our 8th graders may also be ready for the Young Adult Book Award Nominees. These tend to have a bit more mature content so they may not be appropriate for every student. Click on the links below to learn more about these amazing books!
