This is a list of books and dramas that are translations of P. L. Deshpande's works. This list might not be complete.
We are also trying to collect information on translations of P. L. Deshpande's individual articles. Most of his Dramas, Ekankikas were translated and performed in Gujarati, Kanadi, Hindi, but not necessarily published as books. Similarly, many of his articles (which were later collected in books) were translated in many indian languages, and in english. We just mention venues Dharmayoug, Nayi Duniya and frequent translators Rekha Deshpande, Rahul Barpute (for hindi articles, political satire from Khilli or skecthes from Gangot, Guna gaeen avadi), and english translations of many vyakti ani valli (and other) articles by Prabhakar Laad, M. V. Rajadhyaksha, Uma Shirodkar, Ria Modak. `Kakikini-Gurudeo' episode from Asa Mi Asa Mi was translated as `Spriritual Quest' by Kumudini Mehta in 1970, for example. We would love to get more information on translations on individual articles.
We would like to thank Uma Kulkarni and Aruna Jadeja.
