App: File Recovery: Videos & Photos (Android), package com.pz.file.recovery.cleaner
Developer: Playzee Studio
Contact: playzeemarketingsgp@gmail.com
File Recovery helps you find copies of photos, videos, audio and documents that still exist on your phone (for example in the recycle bin, preview caches, or app folders) and restore them. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Your files stay on your phone
Scanning, previews, validation and restoring all happen on your device.
- The app never uploads, copies or transmits your photos, videos, audio, documents, file names or folder names to us or to anyone else.
- The app does not require an account or sign-in.
Permissions and why we ask for them
Photos, videos and audio (READ_MEDIA_*): To read the Gallery index and show what you still have, so we never list it as "missing".
- All files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Deleted files survive in the recycle bin, preview caches and app folders that normal media access cannot see. We use it only to scan for such copies and to restore the ones you choose.
- Notifications (optional): Reminders you can turn off at any time in Settings.
You can revoke any permission in Android Settings. The app will explain what no longer works instead of pretending to scan.
Information that is sent
To keep the app working and improve it, three Google Firebase services receive limited technical information:
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): if the app crashes, a report is sent containing the crash stack trace, app version, device model, Android version and a random installation identifier. Reports never include your files or file names.
- Firebase Analytics (Google): basic usage events such as "app opened", "scan completed" (counts only), and which screens are used, together with device model, country and app version. No file names, contents or personal identifiers.
- Firebase Remote Config (Google): the app downloads configuration values (for example which plan to show by default). Nothing about you is uploaded for this.
Free users in some countries see advertising:
Google AdMob: AdMob may collect the advertising ID, approximate location (from IP address), device information and ad interaction data to show and measure ads, as described in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent message before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings > Privacy choices.
Paid subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details. Google's privacy policy applies to the transaction.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location (other than the approximate country used for ad and pricing settings), photos, videos, documents, messages or browsing history. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
Data retention
Crash reports and analytics are retained by Google Firebase according to its retention settings (crash data up to 90 days; analytics events up to 14 months). Everything the app finds during a scan stays only in the app's memory on your phone and is discarded when you close it. Files you choose to restore are saved to your phone's own Gallery folders.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Honesty about recovery
Permanently deleted files on a phone's internal storage cannot be recovered by any app without root access. File Recovery only finds copies that still exist, and says so inside the app. We never show fake results.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same web address with a new effective date.
