About Us

Play to Grow Occupational Therapy and Yoga was created out of a community need for these services. Founded by Lisa Critchfield, OTR/L, Play to Grow Occupational Therapy provides community based services to make sure each person is living life to its fullest.

I have been an occupational therapist for 8+ years and specialize in pediatrics and sensory integration. I have worked with a wide variety of people and in various settings and enjoys helping people feel successful.

I earned my master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a bachelor's in Human Performance and Health from West Virginia University.

I have practiced yoga since 2008 and always wanted to pursue formal training. After a friend introduced me to Kidding Around Yoga and the pandemic created more time at home, I decided to pursue the 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2020. I am a certified yoga teacher and a Kidding Around Yoga teacher and a leader in Yoga for Emotional Intelligence. I love to implement yoga into occupational therapy for a fun and functional session.
