PlayTime Guard ("the app") is a parental control application designed exclusively for parents and guardians. It is not directed at children.
The app is intended for adults (parents/guardians) who want to manage children's game time on Android devices they supervise.
Installed app names and package identifiers (to let parents choose games to manage)
Daily usage time for parent-selected apps (via Usage Access)
Device Admin status and permission states (for protection and tamper detection)
Enforce daily play-time limits set by the parent
Lock managed games when limits are reached
Detect if protection settings are disabled and alert the parent
Parent PIN, recovery code, app limits, usage counters, and tamper logs are stored locally on the device. Encrypted storage is used where supported. We do not sell personal data.
PlayTime Guard does not store or retain user data on our servers. All app data described in this policy is retained only locally on the device for as long as the app remains installed and the data is needed to provide parental control features.
Local data remains on the device until the parent clears it, resets it within the app, or uninstalls the app. Because we do not keep a server-side copy, once data is removed from the device it is not retained by us.
You can delete PlayTime Guard data at any time using any of the following methods:
Clear or reset app settings within PlayTime Guard (where available); or
Open device Settings → Apps → PlayTime Guard → Storage → Clear data (or Clear storage); or
Uninstall PlayTime Guard, which permanently removes all data stored locally by the app.
Because user data is stored only on the device and is not transmitted to our servers in the default configuration, clearing app data or uninstalling the app completes deletion. If you have questions about data deletion, contact the developer email listed on the Google Play store listing for PlayTime Guard. We will respond within 30 days.
We do not transmit usage data to third parties in the default configuration. If cloud features are added in the future, this policy will be updated before release.
Assist Mode may require Device Admin and display-over-other-apps permission. These are used only for parental control features described above.
The app is not designed for use by children. Parents configure and control the app using a Parent PIN.
For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact the developer email listed on the Google Play store listing for PlayTime Guard.
