## 1. Local Media Playback & Storage
**PlayOn is designed as a local media player.**
* **Media & Files Privacy:** All your video and audio files, playback history, secure vaults, and custom configurations remain strictly local to your physical device. We do not collect, index, scan, or upload your media files to any external servers.

## 2. Advertisements & Third-Party Services (Google AdMob)
To support the App and provide premium features (such as unlocking custom accent colors), the App displays advertisements served by **Google AdMob**.
### A. Data Collected by AdMob
When you watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain information from your device. This may include:
* **IP Address:** Used to estimate general location for serving ads in the appropriate language and region.
* **Device Identifiers:** Such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID) or Apple ID for Advertisers (IDFA).
* **Usage Data:** Statistics on ad views, clicks, and interactions.
* **Device Information:** Device model, operating system, and mobile network info.
### B. Purpose of Collection
This information is used by Google AdMob to:

* Track ad views for reward verification (ensuring you receive your premium accent color unlock after watching).

## 3. Device Permissions Required
The App requests specific access permissions on your device. These are used solely for local operations and displaying ads:
### A. Storage Access (Read & Write)
* **Required For:** Scanning and listing local video and audio files from your device storage so they can be played inside the App.
* **Write Permission:** Used only when you request to delete a file or move it to/from the secure private vault.
### B. Biometric / Device Credentials Access
* **Required For:** Unlocking the App Lock and the Private Vault (if enabled by you in settings).
* **Security Compliance:** Biometric verification (Fingerprint or Face ID) is handled entirely by the Android operating system. The App does not have access to, nor does it store, your actual biometric templates.
### C. Internet Permission
* **Required For:** Communicating with Google AdMob servers to request, load, and display rewarded advertisements on your device.

The App does not target children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data to AdMob through our App, we will take steps to ensure it is deleted.
