Ages: 6 to 8 (Boys/Girls)
Mondays 6:05pm to 7:05pm
Cost: $50 for 3 days or $25 per day
Each camper will get a t-shirt
The sessions will focus on the basic fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and ball handling through drills and team scrimmages. Each Lil Hooper will need to bring a basketball and water.
BALL HANDLING AND SHOOTING CAMP
Date: July 28, 2023
When: 9am to 12pm
Where: Agape Church 1108 North 6th Street ~ Broken Arrow, OK 74012
Grades: 5th to 12th Grade (Boys & Girls)
Cost: $40 per camper
The session is limited to 16 players to ensure high number of repetitions and improvement.
Things covered in camp: (1st hour and half will be ball handling, and the 2nd hour and half will be shooting)
Ball Handling such as two ball, ball moves, first step, creating space, being more effective with dribble and etc.
Shooting such as footwork, form, release, finishing at the rim, shooting off dribble, catching and shooting, using screens, and etc.
Camp will be lead by Coach Jimmie Walker III.
Played high school basketball at Nathan Hale (Tulsa, OK)
Played College basketball at Southeastern Oklahoma State University (3 year starter)
Has been coaching for over 20 years
Coached 3 years at NEO A&M (Asst. Men's)
Coached 13 years as high school basketball coach (9 years on the boys side & 4 years on the girls side)
Coached 23 years of summer basketball (Director and Coach of PlayMaker Express for the last 13 years)
Coach Jimmie loves teaching the game of basketball and watching players grow at the game of basketball.
THIS CAMP IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS, IT'S FOR PLAYERS WHO ARE LOOKING TO GET TO THAT ELITE LEVEL.
