Apple Music Data

PlaylistBuddy accesses your Apple Music library only with your explicit permission. Any music-related data (such as playlists, tracks, or playback information) is used solely to provide app functionality.

PlaylistBuddy does not store, transmit, or share your personal Apple Music data with external servers.

Analytics and Tracking

PlaylistBuddy does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Third-Party Services

PlaylistBuddy uses Apple’s official APIs (such as Apple Music / Media Player frameworks) to provide functionality. All data handling related to Apple Music is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.

PlaylistBuddy Pro users can use Claude API to provide better AI generated functionality. No person data is sent to Claude API.

Artificial Intelligence Services

PlaylistBuddy uses third-party artificial intelligence services to generate insights about the currently playing song.

Only the song title, artist name, and album name are transmitted for this purpose. No personal information, user identifiers, or listening history are shared.

This data is used only to generate insights requested by the user and is not used for advertising or tracking.

Children’s Privacy

PlaylistBuddy does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
