Play It Forward ("the game") is made by The Good Karma Project. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play.
What the game sends, and to whom
The game has no accounts of its own, no ads, no analytics of its own and no tracking. The only thing that leaves your phone is for the optional global leaderboards, which run on Google Play Games Services:
• If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the game sends your best score for each song to Google so it can appear on that song's global leaderboard.
• Google Play Games shows your Play Games gamer name and avatar next to your score. You choose who can see it (everyone, friends, or only you) in your Play Games profile.
• Google also collects some app diagnostics and usage data through Play Games Services. Google handles this under the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
The Good Karma Project does not receive your email address or any contact details, and does not sell or share your information with anyone. You can play every song without signing in to Play Games. Your scores then stay on your phone only.
What stays on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves a few things on your phone: your level for each song, your top 10 scores for each song (score, accuracy, level and date), your last chosen song, whether vibration is on, and whether you have seen the How to play screen. You can delete them at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the game.
Permissions
The game asks for permission to vibrate the phone, so you can feel your hits. It does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts or files.
Links to other websites
The title screen links to www.thegoodkarmaproject.com. Tapping it opens that website in your web browser. The website is not part of the game and has its own privacy policy.
Children
The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Deleting your data
To remove your global scores, delete this game's data in your Google Play Games profile (play.google.com/games/profile) or in your Google Account. Scores and settings saved on your phone are removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall the game.
Changes
If the game starts collecting anything new, we will update this policy before that version is released.
