1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the PlayGo app ("Application") created by PlayGo AI ("Service Provider"). PlayGo is provided as a freemium service offering both free core gameplay and optional premium features and virtual goods. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, specifically regarding our AI-driven features, live collaborative gaming environments, and model training.
2. Information Collection and Use
When you use the Application, we may collect:
Account Data: Email Address and Username.
Device & Connection Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system version, and device type.
Usage Data: Pages visited, time and date of visits, and interaction metrics (e.g., games played, "likes," duration of play, and in-app purchase history).
Live Session & Moderation Data: To ensure trust and safety, and to comply with applicable laws, we may monitor, record, and retain chat logs, textual/visual prompts, and real-time interactions generated during live collaborative creation sessions.
Algorithmic Profiling Data: We process your Usage Data and interaction history to power our AI-driven recommendation feed, curating content tailored to your preferences.
Note: The Application does not collect precise real-time location data.
3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@playgo.ai. We will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account immediately.
4. Data Collection, AI Ownership, & Consent to Record
We collect your User-Generated Content (text prompts, images, and game mechanics) to provide platform functionality. We operate under a strict dual-privacy model:
Private Content: Content you create and keep marked as "Private" is strictly for your own use. We do not use Private content to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models.
Public Content: If you choose to publish your content to the community feed, or make content available for Remixing, you consent to that public data being used to train and improve our AI models, as detailed in our Terms of Service.
Live Collaborative Lobbies: By joining real-time collaborative sessions, you explicitly acknowledge and consent to PlayGo monitoring and recording your inputs and chat for safety and moderation purposes.
5. Data Retention, Deletion, & Right to Erasure
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time via the in-app deletion tool or by contacting support@playgo.ai.
Account Deletion: This permanently removes PII (Email, Username, IP history) from our active databases. Private games will be fully deleted.
Preservation of the Remix Ecosystem: To protect the collaborative work of other users, any User Content you published to the public feed or created in collaborative sessions will not be deleted upon account termination. It will be permanently anonymized (stripped of your username and metadata PII) and retained as "orphaned" content to support community Remixes.
Embedded PII Erasure: If you believe retained public or orphaned content contains embedded Personally Identifiable Information (PII) directly within the game assets themselves (e.g., your real name generated in dialogue), you may request a manual scrub via support@playgo.ai.
6. Third-Party Access & AI Vendors
Aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to improve the Application. Furthermore, when you use our generative AI features, your inputs may be processed by third-party AI infrastructure providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Stable Diffusion). These providers are bound by their own Privacy Policies and Acceptable Use Policies, and explicitly restrict processing for prohibited use cases. We maintain enterprise-level "zero-data-retention" agreements with these providers to ensure your Private Content is never utilized to train their foundational models. Third-party analytics (e.g., Google Play Services, Firebase) are also utilized.
7. Security
We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data we process, though no system is entirely foolproof.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Application signifies your approval of these changes.
