Polices and Procedures
A 20% nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of registration in order to secure your child’s enrollment. Enrollment is not guaranteed until this is received. The remainder of tuition is due the first day of class, unless other arrangements have been made.
Summer Classes:
Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance may be eligible for a refund, minus a nonrefundable supply and administration fee equal to 20% of the total class tuition. Classes canceled 14 days or less will not be eligible for a refund.
Due to the nature of our small group instruction, make-up classes are not available. Efforts will be made to help your child stay current with missed material; however, full replacement of missed instruction cannot be accommodated.
Photographs may be taken during class activities for educational documentation and promotional use. Identifiable features (e.g., faces) will generally not be included in public posts. However, partial images (such as the back of a head or an arm) may appear. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge and consent to this limited use.
Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure your child’s safety while in our care. In the event of injury, parents or guardians will be notified promptly.
Playful Pages Club and Kaitlyn Frehner are not liable for injuries or accidents that may occur during class time.
Authorization is granted for the administration of basic first aid when necessary. No medications will be administered under any circumstances.
To maintain a healthy learning environment for all participants, do not send your child to class if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
Fever within the past 24 hours
Persistent cough
Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
If your child becomes ill during class, you will be contacted for immediate pickup. Missed material due to illness will be addressed as best as possible during future classes.
Food may be served as part of class activities. Efforts are made to provide organic and nutritionally balanced options. Parents must notify the program in writing of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or food-related concerns. Reasonable accommodations will be made where possible to ensure student safety.
If your child requires any academic, physical, or social accommodations, please communicate this information in advance. While we are not a licensed special education provider, we will make every reasonable effort to support your child’s success and well-being.
Children must be picked up within five (5) minutes of the scheduled class end time. Communication in advance is appreciated in the event of a delay, but repeated late pickups may result in a fee of $5.00 for every 15-minute increment a child remains beyond that window.
