PlayerLair project

We started our project called "PlayerLair" on Friday 16.12.2022. There were really few of us (for example 3) and we didn't even have players who wanted to play for us. But we didn't want to give up and so we started a discord server where we slowly invited new people and they invited other people etc. Less than a week later we started our very first version of a minecraft server - through Aternos. While Aternos doesn't have servers of any particular quality as far as our purposes are concerned, they are free, which was one of the most important things for us at the time, and it was enough for temporary use. We were doing quite well. We were recruiting new people to run the server, new players for the discord server, meeting new amazing people and playing minecraft together almost every day on our server. We managed to create a nice environment, make new friends and most importantly motivation. With this motivation we dedicated a lot of time to the server every day. Builders built, admins programmed and setup, developers invented, etc. But after a while, we had too many plugins and our aternos server was no longer able to handle it. Every time we wanted to turn it on it took over 10 minutes, it was lagging and after a few days it just crashed whenever we wanted to turn it on. It was really bad, but we didn't have much choice. So we made a pretty big albeit short-term decision: we changed hosting. We moved to "server.pro" hosting, thinking that this would be our final hosting. Granted, it wasn't exactly cheap, but we couldn't find anything cheaper at the time, and the rest of it suited us quite well. Well, it didn't last very long (I can't say why, sorry), so we moved to another hosting that already looked very promising (I can't say which one, because we still run the server there). There will be some problems from time to time, but I think it's just part of the job and so far we've managed to solve all the problems. In the meantime, we kept recruiting new people for the server management, which has grown quite a bit over time, and our gaming community isn't bad either. This has more or less brought us to the present, so I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed in any way to our project so far, whether you've been here since the beginning or just for a few days.
On behalf of the entire server management, thank you and enjoy playing:)
