Yes, you can! However, if you are a dealer, luthier, retail location, or school, do NOT use the shipping label listed on the Playback page. Please email playback@daddario.com and we are happy to set you up as a recycling center.

I tried this beta version and same result, it does not work using my iphone (or other iphones in my house) but today I tested in a Samsung / Android and all cameras playback worked fine, so it is not an issue in the SD cards, it is an issue with the iphone app. Something changed

I have an SD card in my Wyze Cam v.2 and used to be able to view 12 second loops of captured footage. Now the playback is greyed out. (See photo) I know the SD is working since it records and formats.

This bug only affected the iOS app playback button in portrait mode. That one single button being unusable is the only issue for this bug. The feature has not been disabled. You still have access to all playback from the SD card. You can still use the playback bar from Live View. If you are viewing an Event Video, you can tilt your phone to watch the event in landscape where that playback button is unaffected and still active.

When having multiple cue lists I see that cue lists get assigned playbacks. I know you can assign these playbacks to the faders so I guess I'm thinking that you're essentially assigning a cue list to a playback which is then assigned to a fader. The problem is though when I've linked various cue lists together and running through them I can see Playbacks changing. I'm working on a OLE and so don't know what's happening to the faders whether they change aswell. I would presume they are?

I understand that you can assign a cue list to a fader wing, but thats a cue list, not a playback, so your bypassing the whole playback thing? Also that you can load cue lists onto the Go button (the Master playback)

I'm finding it quite hard to explain exactly what I don't understand so maybe someone could just help me out telling me whats actually going off with the whole playback thing. Why there changing as I run through cue lists.

A playback is really just an association with a physical fader. A cue list doesn't have to have a playback number (which is why sometimes you will see a "- -" in the playback column in the Cue List Index display). If you have a cue list which is only executed via an external link from another cue list, it doesn't need to be loaded to a fader, thus it doesn't require a playback number.

A playback is automatically assigned to a cue list only when said cue list is loaded to a fader. A playback is likewise removed from a cue list if said cue list is removed from its fader(s). The number assigned will always be the lowest available, so:

if you have cue list 1 loaded to Master Fader Pair the playback is assigned #0 (which paints as "Master" in the Cue List Index)if you then create a new cue list 11 and load it onto fader 6, it will be assigned playback #1if you then create a new cue list 12 and load it onto fader 7 it will be assigned playback #2if you then create a new cue list 15 and load it onto fader 8 it will be assigned playback #3now if you remove cue list 11 from its fader the playback #1 is removed (repainted as "- -")and now if you create a new cue list 20 and load it onto fader 9 it will be assigned playback #1

if you load cue list 12 (which is already assigned to playback #2) onto fader 10 it will be assigned playback #2 *AND* #4 (although you'll only see one number in the Cue List Index)So you have the same cue list across multiple faders acting independently (meaning: you can be sitting in cue 12/5 on fader 7 (with playback #2) and also be sitting in cue 12/2 on fader 10 (with playback #4); also if you hit GO on fader 7 (playback #2) that will advance to cue 12/6, but only on playback #2, playback #4 (on fader 10) will not be affected and will still be sitting in cue 12/2.

But the *real* purpose of playbacks is so that you can have multiple iterations of the same cue list synced across different faders. (For example: If you have a cue list (apart from your main list) that you want to have access to from every fader page *and* you want that list to always be in the same cue no matter which page your on and no matter which fader you hit GO from, you can assign those faders to be the same playback #.)

Fader 8 has the Playback Tile highlighted in gray and at the bottom it says Mapped to 3, so now you need to assign the same playback # to fader 4, so click on the Playback Tile under fader 4 and then click on the Mapped to Tile, and type 3. Click {Close} and then click {OK}.

Im on Avid 2022.12 and playback is pausing at what seems like random moments across a variety of media. Happens about 5-6 times a day on average. I can just hit play to continue but Im concerned about this becoming more of an issue once the director joins me in a few weeks.

Media is all DNxHR LB 1920x1080 with an additional Frameflex punch in. At first I thought it was just the system lagging with a timeline full of green dot realtime frameflex clips, but I just had it the same playback pause issue on imported music playing back on the source side, so I thought I should investigate and see if anyone here had any ideas.

Is it definitely random or is it related to a specific period of time? If you have playlength toggle switched on and set to, say, 1 minute, then every minute the playback will stop and you will be required to press play again. You may not notice this because apart from on watch throughs you often don't play a full minute of media without pausing at least once which resets it. Worth checking maybe?

1. I first set up a playback memory including the two moving heads and their effects and store this on e.g. fader 1

2. I set all other lights in channel mode, switch to playback mode and add fader 1

3. I store this all as a new cue

Doing so does not work in the Launcher app, but maybe I'm apporaching this completely wrong... basic beginner question as I said ;-)

problem is, afaik when I record a cue when the sequence is activated/running it will only store the levels/state of the fixtures as they are in the precise moment I press record, rather than the full playback sequence.

I have a Focusrite 2i2 I use with its ASIO drivers, and at 1024 samples, with 19% cpu use and 1.8GB of RAM used I have a severly glitchy playback. I thought it was just buggy drivers but it happens on all Windows drivers too, and no matter the output I choose.

I've noticed it gets more frequent and severe the more tracks there are. I am currently working on this project of around 40 tracks, and when I press play at first it sounds fine, but after a few seconds of playback tracks start going silent and louder parts start popping in and out.

Here is a recording of the playback, with the audio playing through my laptop speakers with WaveOut Windows drivers at 24bit 1024 samples, quickly recorded from my phone. Keep in mind this happens the exact same way on all drivers on my pc.

So you're correct about playback for that resolution and frame rate on most systems, but it doesn't explain the change from how PP was behaving before the update, or why it's exactly the same problem when using proxy files instead.

i would also favour a loop button, as shift + space starts playback from the beginning of the track but not from the position of the cursor on. how can this be achieved easily (without marking a passage)?

How to slow down the ring (playback) recordings outside of the notifications, and live view? We had someone steal a vehicle early this morning, but we did not get notifed of activity due to the location of the cameras. However, we are not able to slow down the feed to capture the car pulling out of the driveway, or even someone walking up.

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a project that requires a historical playback of all elements including write tags. I know that this Resource does not allow for write tag states natively but I have seen some other form posts on it. I am new to ignition so what I could really use help with is how to even use it in the project. There isnt any documentation I have found on implementation, so can anyone get me started on making even a simple view work with it?

I discovered a strange behavior using Emby iOS app recently after changing my nginx setup and doing some tests. It seems that for some times now, playback from iOS app is always triggering a "recovering from playback error" whenever I start a stream (either locally directly from Emby server's IP, locally through proxy or remotely through proxy).

Every playback started from the iOS app takes a while to start and creates 4 transcode sessions in the logs but I cannot find why. If, going through web app, no playback error is triggered and the streaming starts immediately (with only one transcode session created in the logs).

Attached are the logs for a single playback session started from iOS. I rotated the logs just before. Can someone look for some clues as fro why this behavior occurs? I'm directly connected to Emby server for this test, so my proxy is not involved at all.

Ok so after some more trials, the issue is not linked to the iOS app because I get the same error on the web app when I playback a mkv file from various browser and when the quality setting is set to a bitrate higher than the mkv's bitrate :

EDIT: ok, i figure it out : When the source media is HEVC and no subtitles needs to be burned in and no quality reduction is needed, then the "Recovering from playback error" occurs. Files encoded in h264 or even and old MPEG2 is playing fine. Question is: why is there an error with HEVC?

When the error occurs, did the auto-start works or do you see the play/pause button in the middle of the screen switch back and forth and just wait that you click on it to start playback ?

I was wondering for months why some videos auto started and some others not, but now I wonder if this is not because of this error. I disabled the option "Allow changing of container formats, if necessary, during media playback" and noticed improvements for that issue. I still get the error but the video autostart every time now. e24fc04721
