The Suburban League Orchestra is open to middle school students. There is no audition required, but you need a director's recommendation. It is a one-day commitment ended by a concert in March.
SCKMEA is open to high school students. An audition in November is required for entry. It is a one-day commitment ended by a concert in December. Students in middle school and high school may perform a solo and/or ensemble for a judge in March. High schoolers earning a 1 (superior rating) have the chance to perform at the state level in April. If you are interested, talk to Ms. Lawson.
