What We Do

We’re a student-led nonprofit based in Atlanta, on a mission to reduce food waste and redirect it to people facing food insecurity.

Plates Aplenty was born from a simple idea: there’s plenty of food — it just needs help getting to the right plates.

We work with event organizers and caterers to recover pre-packaged, untouched meals and deliver them directly to the people who need them most.

By focusing on legal, safe, and scalable practices, we’re making sure good food doesn’t end up in the trash — it ends up feeding our neighbors.
