Privacy Policy — Plate Recall

Plate Recall is a license-plate memory training app. This policy explains what

the app does and does not do with your information.

Short version

Plate Recall does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There

are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything you do stays on your

device.

What the app stores (on your device only)

- **Training statistics and history** — your scores, accuracy, streaks and the

  characters you tend to confuse. This is saved locally on your device and is

  never sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes it.

- **Settings** — display time, selected states, and similar preferences, saved

  locally.

Microphone and speech recognition

The optional "Radio Call" mode lets you read a plate back out loud. To do this

the app uses your microphone and Apple's Speech Recognition. Where your device

supports on-device recognition, audio is processed locally and is not sent off

the device. On devices without on-device support, Apple may process the audio to

perform the transcription, as described in Apple's own privacy documentation. In

all cases, Plate Recall itself does not record, store, or transmit your audio.

You can decline or revoke microphone and speech permissions at any time in the

iOS Settings app; the rest of the app continues to work with keyboard input.

Purchases

The optional one-time "Pro" purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App

Store. Plate Recall does not see or store your payment information.

Children

The app does not collect any data and is suitable for all ages.
