"War isn't Hell. War is war, and Hell is Hell. And of the two, war is a lot worse."
"How do you figure, Hawkeye?"
"Easy, Father. Tell me, who goes to Hell?"
"Sinners, I believe."
"Exactly. There are no innocent bystanders in Hell. War is chock full of them - little kids, cripples, old ladies. In fact, except for some of the brass, almost everybody involved is an innocent bystander."

Hawkeye & Father Mulcahy
M*A*S*H, Season 5, Episode 20. "The General’s Practitioner."
Airdate: February 15, 1977
Writer: Burt Prelutsky and Larry Gelbart

The recording session was pure, unscripted chaos. Producer Sighman wanted a spontaneous feel, so keyboardist Dann laid down his piano part in a single take. To keep a dynamic tempo without a rigid click track, Steve sat directly behind him, shouting lyrics, and beating out the rhythm on a towel-covered stool using timpani mallets. It was unconventional, but it locked the groove in perfectly.

I think we can all agree that the best music videos are the narrative ones. Take On Me by A-ha, those iconic Aerosmith ones featuring Alicia Silverstone, and of course, the Michael Jackson classics. Imagine our complete delight when Charlie Rose presented us with exactly that kind of video for our track, The Ballad of Carla and Samuel.

We honestly could not be happier with what Charlie has delivered here. Their decision to take the story in a very different direction from the 'Natural Born Killers for the modern age' vibe of the lyrics was a complete surprise, and one we like more with each viewing.

As it's May 2026, it seems apposite to remind you all of the existence of this song

We're glad we did this when we did, but it'll never not be painful to hear

The song explores loyalty and staying the course together, themes reflected in the accompanying music video.

The footage follows a journey to Anfield to see Liverpool FC play Newcastle. It captures a different type of unconditional love through the highs and lows, from the motorways and the first sight of the pitch to the roar of YNWA and celebrating Diogo Jota's life on 20 minutes. Fortunately, this trip was a huge high.

If you know, you know ;o)

We were looping well before Ed Sherran even picked up a guitar.

A staple of our early live shows, our version of The Beatles' Helter Skelter serves as a backdrop to a trip down memory lane covering our 30 years together.

The lads from Broken Wolf issued us a invitation to record a song together.  We duly accepted.  This is the result.
