When going to the store, don't use plastic bags, bring your own reusable bag from home instead!

Don't drink coffee from plastic cups, switch over to a reusable cup instead! Styrofoam, the go-to choice for coffee cups, is made from synthetic resins, polyesters, and plastics that take more than a million years to decompose in the landfill.

Reusable Straws

When receiving a drink at a restaurant don't use the plastic straws provided, bring your own stainless-steel straw, glass straw, silicone straw, or even a bamboo straw to use instead. Even when drinking something at home avoid using plastic straws.

Avoid surgical masks as much as you can and switch to reusable masks! Surgical masks are made of polypropylene plastic and are very harmful to the oceans. They can only be used for up to four hours. Reusable masks are better for the environment and they last longer.

Instead of using a disposable razor, opt for a reusable razor. It's made from usually steel or chrome - way better than those made out of plastic which isn't biodegradable.

Exchange your products such as makeup, shampoo, or conditioner that come in plastic packaging to those that come in 100% recyclable plastic!
