The Journey to Become a Black Magic Defender!

Graduated with honors. You cannot believe it. You have just received your diploma through the owl post. The position at the Ministry of Magic is waiting on you. You only have one interview left. Life seems good, better than good, GREAT even!

You arrive at your last interview with a little nervousness. You have no idea what to expect. You look around at the other candidates. You hope you can do better and outshine them. You want to be an auror (dark magic defender) more than anything. Everyone is in a large room and there are snacks and drinks on a table. You eat a chocolate frog and have a sip of your butterbeer when an announcement begins.

“Welcome auror candidates to your final interview. Since the safety of our magical world depends on you, this last task is literally a matter of life or death. Each of the items on the food table are poisoned. You have the tools around you to make a potion that will counteract this poison. You have approximately 75 minutes to complete your potion before the effects become permanent.”

Ministry officials have ushered you and the other applicants to another room, a greenhouse filled with green lush plants of all sizes and shapes. You have to complete a curative potion using different types of plants. The first ingredients must come from the simplest group of plants on the planet. Choosing your cauldron, you get to work!
