This policy is written for parents and guardians. Plantipop is a tap-to-pop garden game for young children. We do not ask children for a name, email, password, or any other personal information.
Plantipop is intended for children. A parent or guardian should install it and review this policy.
The app does not include:
Account registration or sign-in
Chat, social features, or user-generated public content
Location services
Camera, microphone, or photo-library access
Links that require a child to create an account elsewhere
We do not collect personal information from children. We do not ask for name, email, phone number, date of birth, photos, contacts, or precise location.
Progress is saved locally on the iPhone or iPad (a file on the device). It can include:
Current and cleared levels
Coins and shop items the child has unlocked or equipped
Music mute setting
A small counter used only to space out replay ads
This file stays on the device. We do not operate a Plantipop server that receives it. Deleting the app deletes this data (unless the device otherwise backs it up as part of a normal iCloud/iTunes backup the parent controls).
We do not use our own analytics, crash-reporting, or marketing SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles of children.
After the first ten levels, Plantipop may show rewarded video ads and rewarded interstitial ads when the child:
continues to the next level,
replays a level (about one in three times), or
skips a level.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. The app tells Google that traffic is child-directed, that users are under the age of consent, and that ads must be G-rated. That means:
Ads are not personalized (not based on the child’s identity or a tracking profile)
We do not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking
We do not show Apple’s “Allow Tracking” prompt
We do not ask a child to consent to personalized ads
Google may still receive limited technical information needed to deliver an ad (for example that an ad was requested from this app on iOS). Google acts as an independent provider. See:
Tapping an ad may open content outside the game. We recommend a parent stay nearby. We do not sell children’s data.
If an ad fails to load, the child can still continue; we do not require a successful ad to play the early levels.
Plantipop is directed to children. We:
do not condition play on submitting personal information,
do not enable behavioral advertising,
tag ad requests as child-directed so Google serves non-personalized, family-safe ads.
We do not seek GDPR “consent to personalization” from children. Where privacy law requires a parent’s action, the parent should contact us at [YOUR PARENT-FACING EMAIL].
Plantipop does not track users across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not use data from the app for targeted advertising.
Apple’s tracking disclosure for this app is No.
The app may use:
Storage on the device for the local save file
Internet only to request and show ads (after the early levels)
Haptics (light vibration) for tap feedback, if the device supports it
It does not need camera, microphone, photos, Bluetooth, or precise location.

Governed by Apple’s policies
We do not sell or rent information to data brokers.
Local game data lasts until the parent deletes the app or clears the app’s data. Ads are handled by Google under their retention practices.
To stop ads and remove local data: delete Plantipop from the device.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Ad requests may be processed by Google in the United States or other countries where Google operates. Child-directed tagging still applies.
If we change how the app handles data (for example adding a new service), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected in App Store privacy labels as required.
