Risk Assessment Research Assembly (RARA) 2022 (Berlin, 7 December)

2022 Parma Summer School, organised by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the University of Parma, the School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition, and the Catholic University Sacro Cuore of Piacenza.

The Summer School topics addressed three different areas: • Risk assessment/Risk management of regulated products in the EU • Risk assessment approaches of regulated products at EFSA and • Risk assessment at the crossroads of consumer safety and innovation in food production

PlantCheck results on the authentication of milk thistle were presented at the 69th International Congress and Annual Meeting of the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research (GA)

The meeting was organized on behalf of the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research (GA) and brought together scientists interested in Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research.

REMAT Research Management Training for Early Career Researchers, organized by TUTECH INNOVATION GMBH, a subsidiary of Hamburg University of Technology. The training took place online between 4-5 May 2022.

The modules of the workshop covered topics such as: exploitation of knowledge and entrepreneurship, the acquisition of grants, intellectual property rights, and the management of interdisciplinary projects.

International Conference on DNA Barcoding and Biodiversity (ICDBB), organized by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, as part of the BULCode project, in Sofia, Bulgaria & online, from 25th to 27th of May 2022

RAFA 2021 - Recent advances in food analysis This year the event was organised online, on November 3-4 2021
