Established in 1901, Plant Cafe has been a historical landmark since it was built over 100 years ago. Our small cafe, nestled on the corner along one of the busiest roads in Waycross has seen it's fair share of famous (aside from our famous foods!). Famous folks like Elvis Presley, Pernell Roberts, Gary Morris, Kenny Wallace, Rollie Eastwick, Stevie & Cody Dinsmore, Mickey Cobb, and many others have crossed our threshold. Our little cafe has been the forefront of many stories and events that we would love to share with you during your visit to Waycross and our own local landmark! Come dine with Steve & Marla Howell, the owners of Plant Cafe, who brought back the fame of the once popular 1900's 24 hour diner. We might not be open 24 hours anymore, but we are here to serve you!

"We found you by accident two weeks ago - on holiday from Scotland traveling round the South. One of the best holidays we've ever had, and the Plant Cafe one of the best places we visited :)" - K. Goodall - Edinburgh, Scotland.
