Terms & Conditions for Plant Identifier Care
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Plant Identifier Care App (“Application”), created by Le Khanh Thong (“Service Provider”), and provided for use on mobile devices.
By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application. You must not copy, modify, or reproduce any part of the Application or our trademarks without permission. Attempts to extract the source code, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative works are also strictly prohibited. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights in and to the Application and its content remain the exclusive property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider is committed to ensuring that the Application is useful and efficient. Therefore, the Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Application or charge for its services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the Application or its services will always be clearly communicated to you in advance.
The Application may process limited information necessary to provide plant identification, plant care features, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Plant identification, care recommendations, watering reminders, and light measurement information are provided for informational purposes only. Results may not always be 100% accurate, and users should independently verify important information.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for maintaining access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as this may remove software restrictions and security protections, expose your device to malware and viruses, and cause the Application to malfunction or stop working entirely.
Please note that certain functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or mobile data. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not work at full capacity due to unavailable Wi-Fi or if you exceed your mobile data allowance.
If you use the Application outside a Wi-Fi area, please remember that your mobile provider’s agreement terms still apply, and you may incur data charges, including roaming charges if you use the Application abroad. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the Application, we assume you have obtained permission from the bill payer.
It is also your responsibility to keep your device charged. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if your device runs out of battery and you cannot use the Application.
While the Service Provider strives to keep the Application updated and accurate, the Service Provider relies on information from third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss you experience as a result of relying on the Application.
The Service Provider may update the Application over time. You agree to accept updates whenever they are offered to you to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be compatible with your device’s operating system version. The Service Provider may also stop providing the Application and terminate its use at any time without notice. Upon termination:
(a) your rights and licenses under these Terms and Conditions will end;
(b) you must stop using the Application and delete it from your device.
The Application uses third-party services, which have their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies. These third-party services may include, but are not limited to, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Facebook. Please refer to the official websites of these service providers for more information.
Changes to These Terms and Conditions
The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to check this page periodically for any changes. Any updates will be posted here.
These Terms and Conditions will be effective from April 26, 2026.
