Privacy Policy for Planner
Privacy Policy for Planner
Planner is designed to be a private and secure place for your plans. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. All information you enter into the app is stored exclusively on your own device. This includes:
Task titles and descriptions
Dates and times for your reminders
Color choices and other customizations
Note: This data is never sent to our servers or any third-party service.
To support the app's development, we use Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service.
Google AdMob: This service allows us to show ads within the app (such as rewarded ads). AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized advertising.
Data Control: We do not have access to or control over the data AdMob collects. We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy & Terms to understand how they handle your data.
Planner requests specific permissions to function correctly. Here is a breakdown of why they are needed:
Permission
Purpose
Notifications & Alarms
To deliver your reminders at the exact time you set them.
Run at Startup
To re-schedule reminders after a device restart so you don't miss tasks.
Control Vibration
To provide a tactile alert for your reminders.
Prevent Sleep Mode
To ensure reminders can wake the screen and appear on time.
Display Over Other Apps
To show reminders on top of other apps so they are not missed.
Internet Access
Required solely by the Google Ads SDK to fetch ads.
Since all of your data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on your device settings. We recommend using a secure passcode and other built-in security features to protect your information.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated policy available within the app or on our store listing.
If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy or your data, you can reach out to us via the "Contact Dev" button in the app's Support section.
Use "Collapsible Groups": For Section 3 (App Permissions), you can use the Collapsible Group tool to keep the page from looking too long.
Buttons: Create a "Contact Support" button at the bottom of the page linking to your support email.
Footer: Place the "Last Updated" date in the footer of your site so it appears on every page if necessary.
