1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using PlaceNotify ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PlaceNotify is a location sharing application that allows users to create circles, share real-time location with circle members, set geofence alerts for saved places, and receive push notifications when members enter or exit those places.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. 

4. Location Data

The App collects your device's GPS location when you choose to share it. Location sharing is entirely opt-in and can be stopped at any time. Location data is shared only with members of your circle and is not sold to third parties.

5. Circles and Members

You may create or join circles with other users. Circle admins may remove members at any time. You are responsible for who you invite to your circle.

6. Subscription and Payments

PlaceNotify offers a free trial period followed by optional Premium subscriptions (monthly or yearly) via Apple's App Store. All payments are processed by Apple. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

7. Free Trial

New users receive a free trial period. After the trial expires, continued location sharing requires an active Premium subscription.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Track individuals without their knowledge or consent

• Harass or harm other users

• Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App

• Violate any applicable laws

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for the App failing to function due to unavailable Wi-Fi or depleted mobile data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlaceNotify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
