Petr Kosenko

I am interested in probability theory, geometric group theory and harmonic analysis. I defended my PhD at University of Toronto in 2023, under the supervision of my PhD advisor, Giulio Tiozzo.

I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia from July 2023 to June 2026, working with Omer Angel and Mathav Murugan. During my time there I organized the UBC probability seminar.

Currently I am a Bloom postdoctoral fellow at University of Haifa, working under supervision of Adam Dor-On.

We are organizing the Quantum mathematics Research Seminar at University of Haifa with Hridoyananda Saikia. Also we are co-organizing a reading group on Poisson-Voronoi tessellations in higher-rank lattices with Tasmin Chu and Aleksander Skenderi. The reading course is on hold since Oct 11, 2026.
