Buckling Pressure Calculator under External Loads: GUI Program for Composite Cylindrical Structures
1. Material Definition:
Define the composite material by specifying the elastic modulus, shear modulus, and Poisson’s ratio.
2. Layer Configuration:
Specify the material, stacking angle, and thickness to define a laminate layer.
3. Composite Properties:
Stack the laminate by selecting the defined layer, and then calculate the ABD matrix and engineering constants.
4. Buckling Pressure:
Calculate buckling pressure under external loads using defined geometric properties and design codes (ASME and NASA).
Temperature Load Generator for Finite Element Models
1. CFD Results Input:
Define the spatial and temperature data. The required input data should be formatted as a .csv file.
2. Regression Analysis:
Conduct Random Forest regression to derive a new temperature profile suitable for the finite element model.
This step also includes generating a regression plot to display the accuracy of the Random Forest model.
3. Write the FE Files:
Automatically generate the temperature profile and coordinate point information into an LS-DYNA code file (.k).
This process necessitates the coordinate point dataset from the FE model and incorporates time step information.
GUI-based Probability of Injury Analysis under Fire
1. Input and calculation:
Define the spatial and heat flux data. By entering some values such as initial timestep, exposure time, and clothes factor, the result of POI can be generated.
2. Plotting:
A 3D graph displays the POI in each coordinate point. A prompt is provided to select the degree of burns.
