What we do

Welcome to the EHL, a research group within the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Pukyong National University in South Korea.  

The EHL promotes teaching, research, and outreach activities related to hydrologic processes. The emphasis of the EHL is on assessing and remediating human impacts on hydrologic ecosystems. Our research explores watershed management practices and hydrological and ecological processes that affect water quality and quantity.

Our teaching and research is focused in three major areas: 

(1) Groundwater contaminant transport and remediation of contaminated sites

(2) Watershed transport pathways

(3) Monitoring hydrologic processes and solute transport within surface and groundwater systems
