Establishment

Electrical Engineering Studies was first established at UiTM Sarawak Branch Samarahan Campus around the year 2001. PKE only offers one program which is the Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics).

Locality

Initially PKE (formerly known as FKE) was based in Academic Block C of the Samarahan Campus. Now PKE is based in Block I of Samarahan Campus where it is dedicated for PKE only.

Education

The programme will expose students to the fundamental of electrical and electronic engineering, concepts and application of power generation, transmission and distribution. With an emphasis on the utilization and control of power and technology, the programme will provide students with a strong foundation for the challenges ahead. Students will be exposed to industrial environment during their industrial attachment during their final semester. They are given freedom to choose their area of interest for their final year project based on electrical and electronics concept.
